Australia provides Ukraine with another military aid package, which will include 14 Sentinel 830R boats.
Australian Department of Defense reported that the latest $14 million military support package for Ukraine "will bolster Ukraine’s maritime and coastal defence, which has been an important operational domain for the Ukrainian Armed Forces."

"These Australian Defence Force sea boats will provide a fast and highly manoeuvrable maritime capability for Ukraine," the statement reads.
Australian Department of Defense added that this announcement to send the boats is based on past contributions to Ukrainian maritime capabilities, including rigid-hull inflatable boats announced by the country's Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles earlier this year.
Australian Department of Defense draws attention to the fact that the assistance is being provided as part of an ongoing commitment by the country's government "to support Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression."
"Since the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, Australia has provided more than $1.3 billion in military support, and more than $1.5 billion in overall support to the government of Ukraine," Australian Department of Defense reported.
According to Richard Marles, supporting Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression is in Australia's interest, and it is the right thing to do.
"Ukraine has demonstrated its ability to thwart russia’s continued attacks from the Black Sea. We are proud to contribute to these vital maritime defences with this new package," Marles stated.
Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukraine would get 49 M1 Abrams tanks from Australia.
