As in the previous time, this Ka-52 was downed while it was flying over advanced helipad, which russians use due to small combat radius of the helicopter. The similarity of the two episodes even raised the question of whether this video the exact one as of April 5, just shot on another camera.
However, if look closely at “charge” indicators on the two screens, we’ll see that they are different. On the new one it’s 12,6 and on the second it’s 12,2. So, these are totally two different episodes.
Interestingly, the advertised helicopter’s Vitebsk defense complex didn’t work anyhow. It allegedly provides maximum protection against missiles. And that’s including laser detection. But, of course, compared to the fact that the entire Ka-52 can be penetrated with 7.62 bullets these are all details.
Defense Express reminds, that it’s the second documented fact. Also, there was an unconfirmed statement on April 8 about another enemy helicopter shooting down using Stugna-P ATGM.
