A representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitskyi, gave an interview to Interfax-Ukraine, where he had spoken about the number of russian invaders in Ukraine.
"If we talk about what has changed during this time, it is number of the group deployed on our territory. At present, the ground part of the grouping located on the territory of Ukraine, is about 470 thousand servicemen. And this is only the land component, I do not include aviation and navy, which is also involved in operations, in strikes," he explained.

A new component of russian troops even appeared in the occupied territories. A group of the National Guard of the russian federation has been deployed. It includes about 33 thousand military personnel.
"These are people who ensure activities of occupation authorities, protection of strategic facilities as well as can perform defense tasks in the temporarily occupied territories if it is necessary," Skibitskyi said.
In addition, a so-called groups of "cover of the state border of the russian federation" has also appeared. They are deployed in three regions of russia that have common border with Ukraine. These are Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk Oblasts. These groups number about 30 thousand of militaries.
The Major General emphasized that this is related to russians' fear that the Defenders of Ukraine would be more active and would carry out retaliatory actions on the territory of russia.
Skibitskyi also emphasized on an important change in two years. This is isolation of the Black Sea Fleet, and the fact that all the invaders` main warships remain in Novorossiysk.
Earlier Defense Express reported that russian invaders had used chemical agents against Defenders of Ukraine again.
