The russians are facing non-stop military losses on Ukrainian soil. About 507,650 aggressor’s troops were eliminated, 13,499 air targets of invaders were shot down, thousands of tanks, armored vehicles and trucks were destroyed by the defenders of Ukraine

With the numbers of total destroyed IFVs quickly approaching 15,000 units, the russian invasion army loses more manpower and equipment in battles against the Ukrainian Defense Forces. On the morning of May 31st, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shares an update on the combat losses of the russian forces. Defense Express has compiled them in our infographic:

More specifically, with the losses over the past 24 hours highlighted in brackets, russian forces have lost from February 2022 to date:

  • Tanks – 7,728 (+18) units,
  • Armored Personnel Vehicles – 14,935 (+22) units,
  • Artillery systems – 13,140 (+39) units,
  • MLRS – 1,088 (+0) units,
  • Anti-aircraft warfare systems – 815 (+0) units,
  • Aircraft – 357 (+0) units,
  • Helicopters – 326 (+0) units,
  • Operational-tactical level UAVs – 10,587 (+55) units,
  • Cruise missiles – 2,229 (+7) units,
  • Boats / warships – 27 (+0) units,
  • Submarines – 1 (+0),
  • Special equipment – 2,164 (+11) units,
  • Vehicles and fuel tanks – 17,905 (+56) units.
