russian Telegram channels have reported a large-scale attack involving Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicles against russian positions near Lyman in Donetsk region. According to these reports, the operation involved dozens of robotic platforms operated by Ukraine's Third Army Corps.
Russian sources claim that a total of 28 ground robotic systems participated in the assault.

According to russian sources, two of the robotic platforms were equipped with Mk-19 automatic grenade launchers. These systems are designed to provide sustained automatic fire against enemy personnel and positions.

Another 18 ground robotic vehicles reportedly carried two AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers each. This configuration suggests that the platforms were intended to deliver concentrated firepower against fortified positions and other battlefield targets.
The remaining eight platforms were reportedly configured as kamikaze ground drones. Unlike the remotely operated weapon carriers, these systems would be intended to reach enemy positions and detonate their explosive payloads.
Russian sources claim that their forces managed to repel the attack. However, they have described the incident as a worrying development, pointing to the growing use of ground robotic systems by Ukrainian forces.
If the reported figures are accurate, the operation would represent a substantial deployment of armed unmanned ground vehicles in a single assault. Combining grenade-launcher platforms, anti-tank weapons, and kamikaze systems could allow Ukrainian forces to employ different robotic vehicles for complementary battlefield tasks.
