The General Staff of the Defense Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the attack on russian occupiers' ferry crossing in Crimea

The General Staff of the Defense Forces of Ukraine reported on its Facebook page that on the night of May 30, the Defenders of Ukraine struck the Kerch ferry crossing with ATACMS ballistic missiles. It was actively used by russians to support their grouping of troops in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to the General Staff, this facility was covered by ''modern'' russian air defense systems such as Pantsir, Tor, and S-400 Triumf SAM systems. However, missiles that have been in service since the 1990s, successfully overcame invaders' ''newest'' air defense shield.

''As a result of the attack, two ferries that were carrying out rail and road transportation were severely damaged. One of them ran aground, which blocked the functioning of the entire Kerch ferry,'' the statement reads.

Due to the successful combat work of Ukrainian warriors, occupiers' military logistics on the peninsula have been significantly damaged.

“The enemy must remember: Crimea is Ukraine. We will win together! Glory to Ukraine!” the General Staff claimed.

Earlier Defense Express reported that Ukrainian special unit had hit 4 russian vessels with the Magura V5 drones.
