Arms exports to Ukraine from the Czech Republic already amount to $2.25 billion, and current permits to Czech companies for commercial supplies in the interests of Ukraine amount to another $2.9 billion.

All that is currently known on this topic is a public report published in November 2023 on the transfer of weapons from the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic in the amount of only 43 million dollars. It was also previously made public by the head of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic about the supply of military equipment and weapons to Ukraine for 270 million dollars since the beginning of the war - without additional specification.
In fact, the Czech Republic immediately switched from transferring all available weapons (tanks, air defense systems, artillery systems, MLRS, and Mi-24 helicopters) to fulfilling direct orders for Ukraine. At the same time, Jana Chernokhova added that the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic does not create any obstacles to the export of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as she stated that this gave a significant boost to the defense industry of the Czech Republic.
Thus, only from the current contracts with the Czech Republic, Ukraine should already receive more weapons than was transferred by the Czech Republic since the beginning of the russian federation's large-scale aggression against Ukraine.
The mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic is only expanding. At the same time, it is necessary to understand that sometimes a number of Czech defense contracts for Ukraine are executed with money provided by other countries.
For example, Excalibur Army is modernizing the T-72 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including as part of a joint program funded by the United States together with the Netherlands. Czech enterprises also manufacture ammunition supplied to Ukraine as part of aid from the European Union.
