Kremlin's foreign arms trade agency Rosoboronexport is open to starting production of Orlan-family reconnaissance UAVs abroad, said the company's CEO Alexander Mikheev at Airshow China 2024. He stated that negotiations were already underway with foreign enterprises about organizing production facilities "within the framework of technological cooperation on the partners' territory."
Mikheev further says that Orlan-10E and Orlan-30 are in high demand due to their active use on battlefields in Ukraine, in particular, the Orlan-30 can be used for laser target designation for precision-guided weapon strikes.

According to the Rosoboronexport chief, the same goes for the Lancet loitering munition: at the buyers' request, they would consider the possibility of manufacturing this aerial suicide drone locally.
Among the countries he described as "interested" in these unmanned systems are unspecified partners from Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America and the CSTO. Mikheev claimed that the prospective format of technological partnership was currently being discussed "with a number of partners."
He noted that the export potential of Lancet munitions is estimated at "more than a thousand sets annually."
