It’s the fourth country (without taking Ukraine into account) has decided to buy Bayraktar TB2 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Canada has become the next country that joined the flash mob "Raise money for Bayraktar TB2 for the Armed Forces of Ukraine" – the humanitarian organization UhelpUkraine, based in Toronto, launched a campaign to collect funds for the purchase of the UAV.

Overall, 7 million Canadian dollars are planned to collect, and the Canadians want to present the drone itself to the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24.

Defense Express reminds that Lithuania became the first country that decided to raise money for Bayraktar TB2 for Ukraine. After it was completed, the Turkish company-manufacturer Baykar Makina, stated that they would give this UAV to the Armed Forces free of charge, and Lithuania directed the collected funds to the purchase of ammunition and other needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Later, a large-scale fundraising campaign for Bayraktar TB2 purchasing was launched as part of the "People's Bayraktar" project: the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Fund and blogger Igor Lachenkov raised 600 million hryvnias in three days for the purchase of four Bayraktar TB2 UAVs. After the sum had been collected, the manufacturer announced that it would give the Armed Forces of Ukraine three UAVs for free.

Then people of Poland decided do the same: currently they have 9 days left to collect the required amount.

After all, Norway recently joined the flash mob: in 80 days they plan to collect 55 million kroner (approximately 5.5 million dollars) and transfer it to the aid fund at the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway.
