On Saturday, August 2, a specialist in communications, electronic warfare, and radar systems, Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov reported that russian Rubicon Center for Unmanned Systems had adopted unmanned strike boats.
It is reported that the occupiers are working on improving marine drones.

"They conducted training and worked through scenarios. They are working on improvements. The video also shows an underwater drone," he stated.
russian occupiers say their main objective is to strike Ukrainian maritime infrastructure and ports. This center is also involved in developing technologies for detecting Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles from the air and destroying them.
"With this post, I am drawing attention to the emergence of a new threat. Anyone who knows what Rubicon is understands that this is serious. To avoid being caught off guard, we need to develop systems for detecting and destroying attack boats. Even FPV drones can successfully handle these tasks. The main thing is to create a unified defense system," the expert emphasized.
According to Beskrestnov, the Rubicon Center can, in a single day, carry out attacks similar to those of Shahed drones, using up to 400 unmanned boats to strike ports, towers, ships, and other maritime infrastructure.
"They can even launch the boats directly onto the shore, loaded with fragmentation munitions," Beskrestnov wrote.
It should be recalled that a year ago, russian occupiers unveiled their own surface drone called Murena-300, which resembles the Ukrainian Magura drone. According to russians, the drone can travel up to 500 kilometers and carry up to 500 kilograms of payload. Its cruising speed is up to 45 km/h.
