The brigade reported this on its official page on Facebook.
"The 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade destroyed a Russian combat helicopter Ka-52 ("Alligator") with a shot from a man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADS)," the report read.

The video shows a missile hitting the target, with the helicopter making a "dramatic somersault" in the air, falling to the ground and exploding.
The entire helicopter crew reportedly died.
According to the military nomenclature, Ka-52 Alligator helicopter is considered to be the commander's aircraft of the russia’s military aviation. This is the newest sample of russian combat aircraft, which has been produced since 2008 and is equipped with a cannon installation equipped with a laser guidance system, an anti-tank missile system, air bombs and other weaponry.
As Defense Express reported earlier, Ukrainian troops captured downed but almost intact Russian attack chopper Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ as well as in fact the Ka-52 helicopter might have been shot down by several shots from a 7.62mm rifle.

Defense Express also reports that servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine showed incredible accuracy destroying about 20 Russian invaders and combat armored vehicles in Donetsk Region.
