In the border regions of the russian federation with Kazakhstan, a large-scale flood, which was caused by an emergency discharge from reservoirs, continues. And one of the russian cities, Kurgan, risks suffering the most due to the flooding of the Tobol River.
Despite the fact that the "big water" has not yet reached it, evacuation has already been announced from areas that will definitely go under water, and at a higher level, the water will flood most of the city. This is evidenced by official maps from the local city administration.

On the maps, yellow and red outlined zones show what will go under water in any case, because it is about the water level of 7.7 meters and 9 meters. And here are the lines - forecasts depending on the water level starting from 11 meters to 14 meters.
The most interesting of the objects located in the zone of potential poisoning is the territory of the Kurganmashzavod plant, because it is the only manufacturer of new infantry and landing combat vehicles in the Russian Federation. All BMP-3 and BMD-4 armored vehicles are produced on it. Also, at this plant, BMP-2 combat vehicles are being modernized, on which the Berezhok combat modules are installed, and the production of armored combat vehicles BTR-MD Rakushka armored vehicle, 2S25 Sprut 125mm self-propelled anti-tank gun and other armored vehicles is organized.

Currently, the russian federation does not publicly say what exactly the water level is expected in Kurgan, giving vague estimates of more than 11 meters, or a "corridor" of 9-14 meters.
The local authorities of Kuragn state that the city can avoid catastrophic consequences only if the appropriate natural circumstances occur. The peak of the water rise is expected by April 14.
Thus, there are quite reasonable expectations that it is nature that will deal a stronger blow to the russian arms manufacturer than all the sanctions combined. Because in case of flooding of the Kurganmashzavod plant, it will suspend its work.
