The condition of the Minsk landing ship clearly of the Ropucha-class (project 775) indicates that it no longer exists as a combat unit and its damage is more than significant

The first photo has appeared with the damaged the Minsk landing ship of project 775, which suffered critical damage as a result of a successful missile attack, together with the Rostov na Donu (B-237) Kilo-class attack submarine.

The very photo published by the "Крымский ветер" (the Crimean Wind) Telegram channel (which is intended for residents of the occupied territories) was taken near the Sevastopol Shipyard, where both ships were in dry dock.

Unfortunately, this photo shows only a part of the ship and does not record the state of the affected submarine at all, although even such a picture is quite informative.

In particular, the photo shows that different parts of the ship, despite the fact that it is in dry dock, have different rolls. At the same time, the ship itself must be on supports during repairs in dry dock. On the Internet, it was even possible to find a photo of The Minsk landing ship, which underwent dock repair in the summer of 2021 at the 33rd ship repair plant in Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region.

That is, the ship either fell from its supports, or its hull is broken, and given the difference in the roll of the stern, central and bow parts - it is quite possible that it is broken. This is quite possible in the case of a long fire, when the metal bulkheads lose their strength and "flow" due to the high temperature of the fire.

An alternative version is that russians decided to partially flood the dry dock in order to sink the ship and extinguish the fire.

It is also possible to determine the epicenter of the fire. It fell on the central part of the ship, where the engine compartment is located. At the same time, the tube of the ship is not visible, as well as the central superstructure, which most likely fell into the hull due to the weakening of the strength of the structures as a result of the fire. Of course, due to such significant damage, all the radar equipment installed on the mast was also destroyed.

Moreover, smoke can still be seen above the ship, which may indicate the continuation of the fire, and this may mean the burning of cable communications. All this together indicates the complete disabling of the ship and its destruction as a combat unit.

Despite this fact, the Ministry of Defense of the russian federation has already announced that the Minsk landing ship as well as the Rostov na Donu submarine, quote: "will be fully restored and will continue their combat service as part of their fleets."
