On the evening of August 21, Ukraine's 14th Regiment of the Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a successful strike against the Unecha oil pumping station. The facility, located deep inside Russia, became the second major target in Ukraine's campaign to disrupt the Kremlin's energy and military logistics this week.
According to Robert Brovdi, also known by his call sign Madyar, the drones managed to hit the strategic infrastructure, causing damage that could take significant time and resources to repair.

Robert Brovdi commented on the mission with his trademark sharp tone, noting that the facility was effectively knocked out of operation.
"At the end of the day, on 21.08.25, the Unecha oil pumping station went down. Let's see them fix this in 48 hours," he stated.
His message also referenced Ukraine's earlier strike on russia's Tambov region, dealing another blow to the logistics network that sustains Moscow's war machine. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed that operation on August 18, noting that the target was the key Nikolskoe oil pumping station. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the facility, forcing a complete shutdown of crude oil pumping through the Druzhba pipeline. It was repaired within 48 hours.
The Unecha station plays a key role in russia's oil transport system, feeding refineries and pipelines crucial for both domestic needs and export revenues. Its disruption adds another layer of pressure on Moscow, already struggling with economic strain and mounting battlefield losses in Ukraine.
