The russian federation carries out a combined missile-drone attack on the territory of Ukraine for the second night in a row. The details of this terrorist attack by the occupiers were told in the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In this volley, which was carried out by russian terrorists, there were traditionally kamikaze drones of the Shahed type. Out of 19 launched attack UAVs (launched from the southern direction - Chaud, Crimea, and northeastern - Kursk), 13 drones of the Shahed 131/136 type were destroyed (68.42%).
Also, 19 cruise missiles of various types were launched over Ukraine, of which five units (26%) were destroyed.
Among them, seven Oniks cruise missiles were launched from the Bastion coastal defense missile system in temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as 4 Kh-22 air-launched cruise missiles were launched from eight Tu-22M3 bombers in the Black Sea area.

Three Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles were likely fired from a submarine in the Black Sea, two of which were shot down (66.6%).
In addition, the volley also included five Iskander-K cruise missiles, which were also launched from Crimea - three missiles (60%) were shot down by the air defense units of Ukraine.

We will remind you that this is the second consecutive night-time combined attack of the russians on Ukraine with a similar nomenclature of missiles and drones. The first such an attack was on the night of July 19.
As Defense Express previously noted, the only option for countering such strikes is to increase the number of anti-aircraft missile systems and other air defense systems in the AFU’s air defense units - primarily Patriot and SAMP/T SAMs, as well as missiles for them.
