Abrams is Unfit for Ukrainian War: Tanks are Withdrawn from the First Line (Updated)

According to The Associated Press, Ukrainian forces have withdrawn all 31 M1A1 Abrams tanks from the first line of contact; moreover, five out of the 31 tanks provided to Ukraine have been lost in combat. American defense officials explain that the main problem is the high saturation of frontlines with unmanned aerial vehicles. They also speak about "unwarranted expectations."

However, the press service of the 47th Mechanized Brigade, one of the units operating Abrams tanks in the Ukrainian Army, stating, "The tanks are performing exceptionally well on the battlefield."

The U.S. Gives Ukraine Large Number of M2 Bradley, MRAPs, Other Armored Vehicles in New Military Aid Package

The aid includes:

  • 1000 HMMWV military trucks;
  • 500 MRAP light tactical vehicles;
  • More than 14 M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.

Additionally, over two million 155-mm shells and over 10,000 Javelin man-portable anti-tank systems are included.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Begin Receiving Large Shipments of Kozak-5 Armored Vehicles from Praktika

Fighters of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a batch of domestic armored vehicles produced by PJSC Scientific and Production Association Praktyka.
