Ukraine repurposes training planes with human gunners to combat russian drones

In Odesa region, Ukrainian Yak-52 aircraft was targeted by russian ZALA drone. This incident shows how Ukraine is using old World War I tactics to fight modern drones.

The Yak-52, normally a training plane, now has a crew of two: a pilot and a gunner. The gunner uses a machine gun, rifle or even a shotgun to shoot down drones.
