This facility is a gas pipeline system owned by Gazprom (russian gas production and distribution monopoly, the largest corporation in the russian federation) transports natural gas from Turkmenistan through Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to russia.

According to the interlocutor, after reports of explosions on a section of the main gas pipeline, russian emergency services went to the scene.
According to local residents, law enforcement agencies and repair teams are in the area of the village of Dynamovskoe in the Nekhaevsky district of the Volgograd region, to eliminate the consequences of the explosion.
The interlocutor added that this pipeline provides energy to such facilities of the russian military-industrial complex as the Demikhov Machine-Building Plant, the russian MiG Aircraft Corporation (production complex No. 1), the Magnum-K ammunition manufacturing plant, as well as others.
Gas transportation via the "Central Asia - Center" gas pipeline in the Volgograd region has been suspended indefinitely.
