The Mykolaiv paratroopers actively use trophy equipment in battles against russia’s occupation forces. The press service of the Airborne Assault Troops Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told how Ukraine’s servicemen destroy the occupiers with their own weapons.
Thus, the 79th Air Assault Brigade fighters are actively destroying the troops of the occupiers with the trophy 2C9 Nona self-propelled artillery gun.

As Mykolaiv paratroopers note, this trophy vehicle has already destroyed one russia’s tank, one infantry fighting vehicle, three Tiger armored vehicles, automobile vehicles and enemy manpower.
"It is maneuverable, fast, it quickly comes to battle. There were shootings at night and this 2S9 set three units of enemy armor on fire, we worked very quickly, didn’t spend many projectiles," one of the paratroopers tells about the advantages of this machine. "The self-propelled gun is very good, accurate, and very maneuverable," confirms another.
