Ukrainian Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk has shared on social media that Ukrainian experts are actively testing and preparing the primary module of Ukraine’s first multifunctional F-16 fighter simulator. This simulator, generously provided to one of Ukrainian tactical aviation brigades by the Czech Republic, marks a significant step in enhancing training capabilities. Mykola Oleshchuk mentioned that the next steps include installing hydraulics and configuring the cockpit to ensure pilots experience the utmost realism during training flights.
Expressing gratitude to all contributing to Ukraine’s aviation strength, Mykola Oleshchuk emphasized the critical role of building a robust training and resource base for pilots, besides acquiring aircraft. Oleksandr Diakiv, representing the Ukrainian Air Force Training Command, described the simulator not just as a device but a comprehensive aviation trainer, featuring an authentic F-16 cockpit from Vrgineers.
