Ukrainian paratroopers from the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade successfully attack russian Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system

russian Tor-M2 surface-to-air missile system was located in an open area in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, near the village of Zmiivka.

The 9A331M SAM system was hit directly, causing it to go up in smoke. russians also had an attempt to quickly abandon their position to avoid further attacks by Ukrainian drones.

This successful operation demonstrates the high efficiency of using FPV-drones in modern combat operations. Despite the fact that the anti-aircraft missiles did not detonate, the destruction of the Tor-M2 is a significant blow to russian air defense.

russian occupiers are actively using Tor SAM systems to protect their troops and important facilities near the frontline. However, practice shows that these systems are often unable to effectively counter Ukrainian drones and other means of destruction.

Earlier Defense Express reported that russians had built barrages in attempt to hide their air defense in temporarily occupied Crimea.
