This system is designed to control the fire of the complexes ZSU-23-4 Shilka, Tunguska and Strela-10. Serial production of PPRU-1 "Ovod-M-SV" MRCC began in 1976

During the fighting with the russian occupiers, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed, among other things, the PPRU-1 "Ovod-M-SV" (Nato - Dog Ear) mobile reconnaissance and command center for tactical air defence systems.

The photo of this system have already appear in the Internet, however, time and place of action are not specified.

It is known that serial production of this system began in 1976 during the Soviet era. PPRU-1 "Ovod-M-SV" is designed to control the fire of the complexes ZSU-23-4 Shilka (Nato - Awl) SPAAG, 2K22 Tunguska (Nato - SA-19 "Grison") SPAAW system, 9K35 Strela - 10 (Nato - SA-13 Gropher) vehicle-mounted SAM system.

The stated range of target detection - up to 40 kilometers, the stated number of targets that can be followed at the same time - up to 99.

The PPRU-1 "Ovod-M-SV" is in service only with the russian army. It is noteworthy that this point of military air defense control has already undergone five stages of modernization since the collapse of the USSR. But in the battle formations of the russian troops was only the most "rare" version of PPRU-1 "Ovod-M-SV".
