According to the plan, the new MLRS Vozrozhdenie is scheduled to enter production in the first half of 2024

In the russian federation, there have been reports of the successful development and upcoming serial production in the short term of a new MLRS based on the ISDM Zemledeliye mobile mine laying system.

In fact, the new MLRS Vozrozhdenie multiple launch rocket system is a new universal modular transport-launch container designed for the ISDM Zemledeliye system.

As claimed by russian propagandists, this container is compatible with 220mm rockets from various russian MLRS systems, namely the BM-27 Uragan, TOS-1 Buratino, TOS-1A Solntsepek, and TOS-2 Tosochka. These rockets can carry diverse warhead types, including high-explosive fragmentation, chemical, thermobaric, incendiary, and scatterable-mine sub-munitions.

In fact, the concept of such missile system charging in russia was simply borrowed from HIMRAS. However, while the American system employs an original mechanism for this purpose, the russian system relies on a simple crane manipulator mounted on a dedicated transport-loading vehicle.

Through the use of ammunition from the Uragan, Zemledeliye can gain the capability to engage targets at distances of up to 35 km.

In the case of using 220mm thermobaric rockets, the range can be up to 6 km for older versions and up to 15 km, according to statements from russia regarding the capabilities of upgraded ammunition for the TOS-2 Tosochka.

The Vozrozhdenie system, based on the ISDM Zemledeliye 8x8 mine-laying system, is therefore designed to function both as a 220mm multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) when equipped with a unified transport and launch container and as a remote mining vehicle using 140mm caliber rockets for mining operations.

At the same time, despite the enemy's plans to commence production of the new MLRS Vozrozhdenie multiple launch rocket system by the summer of 2024, it does not necessarily imply immediate deployment to the front. According to logic, there should still be a testing cycle before that.

And ultimately, the introduction of any new systems in russia typically encounters delays, with the final result often not meeting the initially stated characteristics.
