The DIU published a report containing information on nearly 200 newly identified parts and components used across six types of russian weapon systems. These include the CRP antenna of the Geran-2 (Shahed-type) drone, the North Korean KN-24 ballistic missile, the onboard computer of a Kh-47 Kinzhal missile, and components of various UAVs like the Supercam S350, Gerbera, Zala.

New CRP antennas installed on the Geran-2 drones now contain just two chips of American origin.

“This indicates russia’s efforts to reduce its dependence on components manufactured in countries that imposed sanctions against it,” the DIU noted.
In 2025, russian Shahed drones launched against Ukraine were equipped with newly integrated jamming-resistant antennas labeled in Chinese. Of the 15 components found in one such antenna, only two originated from the U.S. — specifically those produced by Texas Instruments as well as Linear Technologies.

Most of the other elements — including transceivers, generators, signal converters, and other microchips — were identified as being made in China.
“For the first time, a component manufactured in India was found in russian weapons — a clock buffer made by Aura Semiconductor” Ukraine’s intelligence revealed.
The DIU also reported that two additional components have not yet been attributed to any manufacturer, but they are likely of Chinese origin as well.
As Defense Express reported earlier, Investigation Uncovered that russia’s Tornado-S rockets contained Chinese, American, Swiss, and British Components. We also wrote, that the defense intelligence of ukraine revealed what type of missiles russia replenished the most.
