In a recent statement to Ukrinform, Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, revealed that russia continues to maintain a robust missile production program. The focus remains on replenishing stockpiles depleted during recent missile strikes.
According to Vadym Skibitskyi, the primary missiles in production include the Kh-101 and Kalibr units, which have been integral to russia’s arsenal. In addition to these, russia is also investing heavily in the production of the Iskander missile system. The emphasis on the Iskander production is aimed at achieving enhanced accuracy and increased destructive power, a critical component of modern warfare strategies.

Moreover, Vadym Skibitskyi noted that production priorities extend beyond conventional missile systems. Hypersonic missiles, such as the Kinzhal and Zircon units, are also at the forefront of russia’s military technology development. These high-precision weapons are being prioritized due to their potential to dramatically shift the balance of power by offering rapid response and improved strike capabilities.
