The Armed Forces of Ukraine may receive their first AMX 10-RC armoured fighting vehicles within two months - such a deadline was determined by the Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sebastien Lecornu during a conversation with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov on January 12, Ukrinform reports, referring to Sky News.
Thus, these vehicles should arrive in Ukraine no later than mid-March of this year.

"Issuing a statement following talks with his Ukrainian counterpart [Oleksii Reznikov], Sebastien Lecornu said he is 'hoping' to deliver the tanks by March," the report reads.
He also reiterated France's general support for Ukraine in its battle against Russia.
We will remind you that earlier this month it became known that France is ready to transfer AMX 10-RC light tanks (or wheeled tanks as they call them in Ukraiane) to Ukraine, and we have already talked in detail about the specifics of this vehicle and its place on the battlefield.
In this context, we can also mention the supply of other vehicles promised to Ukraine by Germany and the USA. As for the first of its Marder IFVs, 40 vehicles are promised to be handed over to Ukraine in the first quarter, i.e. by the end of March this year - the Germans hope that during this time they will solve the issues they had about where they will get these vehicles - from industry or the military.
Regarding the M2 Bradley BMP, with which the US is supposed to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the latest news about this infantry fighting vehicle is as follows: the US is currently working as fast as they can to get these vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the context of the M2 Bradley, the phrase from the Pentagon representatives about "several weeks" also sounded. We will remind that as part of the new package, the USA announced the delivery of 50 units of the M2 Bradley IFV.
