Ukraine's elite drone unit delivers a precise and punishing blow to russian forces across the border

Since early May 2025, the combat drone operators of the Prime unit of Ukraine's 5th Border Detachment, have intensified their precision strikes across the Kursk direction, inflicting significant losses on russian forces massing just across the border. The unit applies rapid hit-and-run assaults that leave enemy positions in ruins and prevent any effective countermeasures.

Key achievements of the Prime unit:

  • 18 fortified enemy shelters destroyed, denying troops any safe cover;
  • 3 logistics trucks eliminated, disrupting supply lines;
  • 1 2A36 Giatsint-B heavy howitzer knocked out, reducing long-range firepower;
  • 10 enemy infantry casualties, diminishing frontline manpower;
  • 2 UAV launch and control sites neutralized, blinding opposing drones;
  • 2 telecommunications towers brought down, severing command-and-control links;
  • 1 forward ammunition depot obliterated, cutting off critical resupply.

All these strikes were conducted in strict accordance with the laws of the war: military objectives were clearly identified, and civilian infrastructure was avoided. By focusing on hardened positions, supply nodes, and enemy sensors, the Prime unit ensures that each sortie delivers maximum operational impact with minimal collateral risk.
