Ukrainian media share another piece of combat footage featuring Fire Point FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles. This time, three at once were fired from an undisclosed location.
Given the declared operational range of 3,000 km, the confirmation of the results is complicated and will mostly rely on intelligence gathered from the russian side.

FP-5 is currently the farthest-reaching weapon in Ukraine's arsenal, complemented by a one-ton warhead. It manages to achieve such parameters through deviating from the global trend towards developing compact and high-precision missiles that can be used universally across multiple branches of armed forces and domains — i.e. launched from aircraft, ships, and vehicle-mounted systems.

Instead, it draws inspiration from weapons of the past, like the U.S.-developed MGM-13 Mace, and brings back monster-sized airframes while retaining the defining features of cruise missiles. Earlier, Defense Express explained how it combines the technology for producing bodies for ballistic missiles with classic cruise missile equipment.
Politico, for instance, even called the FP-5 a "UAV system," highlighting its drone-like features and clearly drawing the line.
When unveiled by Fire Point's partner Milanion at the IDEX-2025 expo in the UAE this February, Flamingo was said to have the following specifications:

- Range: 3,000 km
- Flight time: over 4 hours
- Maximum speed: 950 km/h
- Cruising speed: 850–900 km/h
- Wingspan: 6 meters
- Maximum take-off weight: 6 tons
- Warhead weight: 1 ton
