Ukraine continues a systematic campaign to erode russia's combat power in temporarily occupied southern regions, combining strikes on air defense systems with attacks on logistics and repair infrastructure

Ukrainian forces have struck another russian air defense asset as part of ongoing efforts to reduce the enemy's offensive potential. Over the past day, Ukrainian units detected and successfully hit the Osa short-range surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Semenivka in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, with a direct hit on the target confirmed.

Osa system is designed to provide point air defense for ground forces against aircraft, helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Although considered a legacy platform, it remains actively used by russian forces to protect frontline units and key facilities from Ukrainian drones and aircraft, making it a priority target.

Neutralizing such systems directly weakens russian air defense coverage and creates more favorable conditions for Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance and strike operations. Each destroyed or disabled air defense asset reduces the risks faced by Ukrainian drones operating over temporarily occupied territory.

In addition to the strike on the Osa system, Ukrainian forces carried out a series of attacks against critical russian logistics infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia region. These strikes were aimed at degrading the enemy's ability to sustain combat operations along the southern axis.

Among the confirmed targets was the location of a repair unit belonging to a separate russian special-purpose brigade near Tokmak. Disrupting repair and maintenance facilities limits the enemy's ability to restore damaged equipment and return it to the battlefield.

Ukrainian strikes also hit material and technical supply depots of a russian artillery regiment near Okhrymivka. Such facilities play a crucial role in sustaining artillery fire, and their loss can significantly reduce the intensity and duration of russian bombardments.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces targeted facilities associated with russiaєs 76th Air Assault Division in the area of Kyrylivka. Taken together, these coordinated strikes highlight Ukraine's systematic approach to dismantling russian air defense, logistics, and combat support capabilities across temporarily occupied territory.
