Ukraine’s Armed Forces successfully develop interoperability with NATO cooperating with international partners in software, logistics, and automated control systems which are no less effective in military operations than MLRS

That is according to the Defense Minister of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, Ukrinform reports.

"To improve the logistics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, NATO Logfas system is being implemented, actively used at the level of brigades, and is scheduled to cover all of them by the end of the year. At the same time, Korovaj software was implemented to process the needs of the army. Among other things, this ensures proper transparency and control over the weapons and military equipment that Ukraine receives in the form of logistical support," Oleksii Reznikov posted on Facebook.

As noted, the Ministry of Defense is in close contact with American partners and recently demonstrated the results of implementing these systems. Thanks to this, an unprecedented level of mutual trust is maintained, and all enemy attempts to block the arms supplies are futile, Reznikov emphasized.

In addition, he noted, an essential stage in the implementation of automated military control systems has been completed.

In his opinion, given the long-term security and defense challenges, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine should become one of the digital development leaders. According to the minister, this task will be solved by increasing the competencies of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces, as well as by implementing policies to promote public-private partnership in this field.

Reznikov stressed that the enemy could be defeated only with high-quality defense forces. "The impact of more perfect logistics and efficient ACS on the military operations is not less than that of a dozen MLRS. This will save the lives of our soldiers and bring victory closer," Reznikov summed up.

The Logistics Functional Area Services (LOGFAS) System is a well-known system in the military C2 domain, and enables multinational movement and transportation planning and execution management, sustainment planning and logistics reporting. LOGFAS is currently operational at the NATO strategic and operational commands and as part of NATO Deployable CIS Capability. LOGFAS services are also used by NATO Force Structure elements and Nations.

Ukraine has launched three levels of accounting for the supply and use of weapons: the NATO LOGFAS program, a new program for accounting and logistics of military equipment Karavay and a module based on the SOTA program. LOGFAS logistics Operations support service has been used by NATO during operations and exercises since 1995. The SOTA module for monitoring arms supplies to Ukraine from partner countries was put into effect on February 24 this year. It allows to monitor new arms supplies, analyze them in a time frame. The Karavay system was created to manage the process of submitting applications for assistance from Ukraine and the process of processing these applications by partner countries.
