According to CyberResistance and InformNapalm, Kaspersky contributed to the drone’s software, enabling automated target detection, selection, and tracking. The UAV utilizes a neural network for real-time identification of people and is also equipped with night vision capabilities.

Despite its advanced features, the Albatros M5 drone fell to the swift action of Ukraine’s air defense units. The 63rd Brigade emphasized that no level of technological sophistication could shield russian drones from determined Ukrainian defenders.
This successful interception highlights Ukraine’s ongoing resilience in countering russia’s aerial reconnaissance efforts and disrupting its battlefield intelligence capabilities.
