Border guards from the Stalevyi Kordon Detachment destroyed a concealed russian tank and multiple fortified positions on the Kursk axis

Ukrainian border guards from the Stalevyi Kordon Detachment have carried out a precise series of drone strikes against russian positions on the Kursk axis, neutralizing a concealed enemy tank and several fortified targets. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released footage of the operation on December 7, highlighting another example of how Ukrainian drone units continue to dominate in localized engagements.

According to the published video, russian forces attempted to protect a tank by hiding it in a prepared revetment, a dugout-style caponier traditionally used to shield armor from detection and artillery fire. However, the defensive position proved ineffective against Ukraine's growing fleet of FPV kamikaze drones, which are capable of navigating tight terrain and hitting targets with high precision.

Operators from the FPV group identified the concealed tank and delivered a direct strike, destroying the vehicle despite its fortified cover. The hit demonstrates the tactical challenges russian units face when attempting to secure heavy armor near the front line, especially in sectors monitored by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance.

The strike on the tank was followed by a coordinated effort from the Vampire UAV team, which targeted and destroyed an additional enemy shelter. The use of multirole unmanned aerial systems allowed Ukrainian forces to maintain tempo and exploit the initial breach in russian defenses.

Subsequently, Ukrainian FPV pilots continued the operation by engaging critical support infrastructure within the Russian position. They successfully struck an enemy antenna, disrupting communications, and then destroyed an ammunition depot, creating secondary explosions that amplified the overall effect of the strike package.

In addition to these hits, Ukrainian border guards neutralized two more shelters used by the occupying troops. Such sequential attacks indicate deliberate battlefield shaping, systematically degrading the enemy's ability to observe, communicate, and sustain operations.
