That is according to a post on the official page of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
As reported by the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi continues to work at the frontline. Together with his units, he is in the most important areas.

"The commander constantly monitors the operational situation at the frontline and takes the necessary measures to keep Bakhmut under Ukrainian control," says the post of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military continues to hold Bakhmut. As noted, forces and resources are involved for the defense of the city, which prevent the enemy from realizing his plan, break his plans and force him to abandon his advance.
Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasizes that the defense of Bakhmut is necessary for the start of the spring counteroffensive.
"The real heroes now are the defenders who hold the eastern front on their shoulders and, sparing neither themselves nor their enemies, inflict maximum losses on them. It is necessary to gain time to accumulate reserves and start the spring counteroffensive, which is not far off," the Commander of Ukraine’s Ground Forces stated.
Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi has visited the units defending Bakhmut several times in recent days.
