The representative of Ukraine's Defense Intelligence says the primary reason is the conflicts in the Middle East and the escalation of tensions both in the region and within Iran itself that made Tehran reconsider its commitments.

"Iran largely assisted the russian federation with Shahed drones, as they were entirely Iranian-made in the early stages. However, production has now become more localized [in russia - ed.]," Yusov stated.

He also pointed out that russia continues to receive other types of weapons from its Middle Eastern ally.

"However, we understand that certain foreign policy developments are compelling Iran to focus on its own problems," Yusov emphasized.

Earlier, Defense Express reported that Iran might have an ICBM capable of reaching the U.S., raising serious concerns.
