In a newly released combat video, pilots of the Black Raven unit demonstrate how they are systematically degrading the enemy's artillery and armored capabilities. The most dramatic sequence shows a strike on the BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket system that was reportedly loaded with a full ammunition complement. The explosion, captured clearly on camera, underlines how FPV drones continue to change the calculus of battlefield survivability for high-value weapons.
The footage, published by the unit on social media, documents a string of successful engagements rather than a one-off hit. Alongside the Grad system strike, the video shows the destruction of two 2S3 Giatsint self-propelled howitzers and two D-20 towed howitzers.

The Black Raven operators also struck highly mobile ground targets. The video captures hits on the Kamaz truck, T-72 main battle tank, and armored fighting vehicle. These strikes show the unit's ability to engage both stationary and moving targets, complicating the opponent's logistics and maneuver options and forcing adjustments in how frontline units disperse and protect their assets.
An attention-grabbing element of the report is the targeting of so-called "exotic" assets. This time, a tractor that the enemy attempted to use in the logistics/engineering zone. Hitting improvisational targets like that demonstrates a tactical awareness: drones can counter not only frontline combat systems but also field-expedient attempts to restore or hide capability behind civilian equipment.
The video also shows a strike on an ammunition storage area and engagements against personnel. Striking supply nodes and munitions depots has a multiplier effect: even if frontline guns remain intact, without steady resupply their operational lifespan and tempo of fire decline sharply. From an operational perspective, these kinds of interdictions are as important as destroying the firing platforms themselves.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian defenders have achieved another significant success in the fight against russian unmanned aviation. According to the 414th Separate Brigade, Ukrainian forces have shot down russian Orion high-altitude strike and reconnaissance UAV, valued at over $5 million.
The Orion drone is one of russia's most advanced UAVs, designed for both surveillance and precision strikes. Its destruction represents not only a tactical victory but also a considerable financial and technological loss for Moscow. Each unit requires years of development and expensive imported components, many of which are under sanctions.
