Special forces of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine (HUR) have destroyed a russian Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system in the Zaporizhzhia region. The system is valued at more than $40 million, according to the HUR press service.
On September 14, HUR operatives located and struck the russian 9K317M Buk-M3 near the settlement of Oleksandrivka in the temporarily occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region.

A video released by Ukrainian intelligence shows a drone hitting the Buk-M3, which was positioned in the middle of a field.
The Buk-M3 is one of russia's most advanced air defense systems, capable of intercepting aerial targets at ranges of up to 70 km. It can also be used against ground and naval targets.
Earlier, Defense Express reported that Ukrainian defenders destroyed another Buk-M3 system along with its ammunition.
