On Wednesday, November 9, Ukrainian officials reported the successful shooting down of various air targets, against the background of the fact that russia continues to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine, using long-range missiles and Iranian kamikaze drones. It is known that the Kh-31 missile, Shahed-136 kamikaze drones and Orlan-10 UAV were shot down

In particular, as Ukrinform reports, citing Ukraine's Air Force’s Command, air defense forces of the Air Command East destroyed five russia’s kamikaze drones early on Wednesday.

"On November 9, after midnight, the enemy attacked Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region with Shahed-136 attack UAVs. Five kamikaze drones were destroyed by the air defenses of the Air Command East," the report said.

At the same time, Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down an enemy Kh-31 missile over Odesa region.

"Morning. Odesa. The destroyed Kh-31 missile, no enemy missile carriers in the Black Sea are the main news of the morning," a spokesman for the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Bratchuk, wrote this on Telegram.

According to him, the situation in the city and region is fully under control.

In their turn Ukrainian warriors, acting against occupiers on frontline, are successfully fighting against enemy reconnaissance drones.

As the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on its official page on Facebook, Ukrainian paratroopers from 81st separate aeromobile brigade destroyed a Russian Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle in Donetsk region.

“In the mission area, the russian multi-purpose Orlan-10 unmanned aerial complex was permanently landed by mobile fire groups of the 81st separate aeromobile brigade of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
