On 17 April 2025, operators of the Flight Club unit from the 92nd Assault Brigade successfully destroyed several high‑value russian radar installations using a coordinated drone strike. The unit published a video of the operation on its official channel, showcasing the precision and effectiveness of Ukrainian assault.
In the recorded footage, the Flight Club operators first deployed the Shark UAV to locate and track priority enemy targets. Once coordinates were confirmed, they launched a loitering munition that homed in on the systems with surgical accuracy.

The combined use of surveillance and strike drones allowed operators to neutralize three key russian assets: one Nebo long‑range air‑surveillance radar, an accompanying meteorological radar station, and the 39N6 Kasta‑2E2 target‑acquisition radar.
These radars form part of a layered air‑defense network that, until now, bolstered russian attempts to detect and intercept Ukrainian air operations. Their destruction represents a significant setback for russian forces, degrading both early warning capabilities and targeting precision in the region.
All drones used in the mission were supplied by Ukrainian volunteer foundation, underscoring the crucial role that civilian support and grassroots logistics play in sustaining front‑line operations.
