Ukrainian forces have reportedly carried out a coordinated strike deep inside temporarily occupied Crimea, targeting multiple naval and infrastructure assets in what appears to be a complex, multi-layered operation. According to the Security Service of Ukraine, fighters from the Alpha Special Operations Center executed the attack.
The operation reportedly resulted in strikes on three russian naval vessels, including the Yamal and Azov large landing ships, both part of russia's amphibious warfare capability in the Black Sea. A third vessel of an unspecified type was also hit, indicating a broader targeting effort against naval assets stationed in Crimea.

There are also preliminary reports suggesting a possible strike on the Grachonok Project 21980 anti-sabotage boat. These vessels are typically used for harbor protection and counter-diversionary missions, meaning their damage or destruction could weaken local defensive measures around key naval facilities.
Beyond the naval component, the operation extended to critical military infrastructure. Ukrainian drones reportedly damaged elements of the Delfin communication system, which plays a role in coordinating naval and possibly joint operations. Disruptions to such systems can degrade command and control, complicating response efforts and reducing operational coherence.
In addition, the strike targeted the MR-10M1 Mys-M1 radar station, further contributing to the degradation of russia's situational awareness in the region. Radar systems are essential for monitoring both air and maritime activity, and their impairment can create exploitable gaps in defense coverage.
Fuel infrastructure was also hit, with storage tanks at the Yugtorsan oil depot reportedly damaged. Strikes on fuel reserves are particularly impactful, as they directly constrain the ability to sustain naval and ground operations, especially in a geographically isolated area like Crimea.
