Ukrainian forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes overnight on April 9, targeting critical elements of russia's military and energy infrastructure.
One of the most notable targets was the Krymskaya oil pumping station in russia's Krasnodar region. According to Ukraine's General Staff, the strike successfully hit the facility and triggered a fire on site. The station plays a role in fuel transportation, making it a strategically significant target in the broader campaign against russia's energy logistics.

While the full extent of the damage is still being assessed, any disruption to such infrastructure can have cascading effects on fuel supply chains. Strikes on energy facilities are increasingly used to complicate the sustainment of russian forces, particularly those operating in southern and temporarily occupied regions.
In parallel, Ukrainian forces targeted multiple logistical sites in temporarily occupied Donetsk region. These included warehouses for material and technical supplies near Mykilske, as well as a UAV storage facility near Orlynske. Such strikes aim to reduce russia's ability to supply frontline units and maintain drone operations.
A key battlefield asset was also hit in the same region, russian Tor-M1 surface-to-air missile system near Kalchynivka. The Tor family of systems is widely used by russian forces for short-range air defense, particularly against drones, making it a high-priority target for Ukrainian operators.
Additional strikes were reported in Luhansk region, where Ukrainian forces hit a logistics depot in Perevalsk and an ammunition storage site near Trudove. These facilities are essential for maintaining russian combat operations, particularly in sustaining artillery and infantry units.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian drone operators have destroyed russian Tornado-G multiple launch rocket system. The strike was carried out by operators from the 23rd Regiment of the National Guard.
