The United Kingdom has delivered another batch of Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine, Bloomberg reported. According to the outlet, the new supply aims to ensure continued Ukrainian strike capability against targets inside russia.
The exact number of missiles delivered to Kyiv remains undisclosed, and London does not regularly release details about such transfers.

Storm Shadow is a precision-guided, air-launched cruise missile with a range of over 250 kilometers (155 miles). It flies at low altitude and high subsonic speed, using a combination of inertial navigation, GPS, and terrain-reference guidance to evade air defenses and accurately hit its target.

Sources told that the missiles were provided to ensure Ukraine maintains sufficient stockpiles ahead of the winter period, amid concerns that russia may intensify strikes on civilian infrastructure.
"As russia increasingly struggles under the weight of sanctions, the UK and its allies are trying to show vladimir putin that Western support for Ukraine will outlast the ability of the russian economy to sustain its war effort," Bloomberg wrote.

As Defense Express previously reported, on October 21 Ukraine used British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles to pierce russian air defenses and destroy the Bryansk Chemical Plant — a key facility in moscow's ammunition production chain.
