On April 7th, the UK is hosting a multinational military planning conference at the Permanent Joint Headquarters to discuss the Strait of Hormuz. The virtual planning conference will explore appropriate measures for an international coalition when hostilities have ceased.

Overnight, RAF Regiment gunners, operating in a high threat area, successfully downed an Iranian drone threatening the region.

UK Typhoon and F-35 jets, supported by Voyager refuelling and Royal Navy Merlin and Wildcat helicopters, have continued their defensive missions across the region.

As Defense Express previously reported, RAF Regiment gunners and a Typhoon jet shot down multiple Iranian drones overnight, as UK Typhoon, F-35 and Wildcat crews sustain daily missions over Cyprus, Qatar, the UAE and Bahrain for over five weeks.
