Ukrainian drones targeted enemy launch sites, infantry, and key infrastructure

Combat drone pilots from the Prime unit of the 5th Border Detachment have once again struck decisively along the Kursk axis, inflicting significant losses on russian forces. In their latest operation, the border service operators neutralized four enemy FPV-drone launch sites, eliminating capabilities for rapid reconnaissance and attacks.

This not only degrades the adversary's ability to gather real-time battlefield intelligence but also hampers their capacity to attack Ukrainian positions with small-scale aerial assets.

Beyond those launch pads, the team eliminated six enemy infantrymen, destroyed three communications nodes, and eradicated fourteen enemy hideouts, effectively dismantling forward staging areas. The destruction of russian ammunition depot further disrupts supply lines and depletes front-line munitions reserves. Such targeted strikes demonstrate the precision and reach of Ukraine's border-service units, extending their defensive remit deep into contested territory.

The Prime pilots have proven themselves consistently "on target", underlining the Border Service's evolution into an offensive force multiplier within the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Their actions on the Kursk front illustrate how integrated drone tactics can inflict disproportionate damage on entrenched adversaries, forcing them to divert resources to rear-area security.

As Defense Express previously reported, in the skies over Donetsk region, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces are steadily tipping the balance of aerial reconnaissance and attack with their own drones. Operators from the Raid 413th Battalion have been successfully intercepting a range of russian UAVs, from cheap FPV attackers to sophisticated tactical reconnaissance platforms.

As Defense Express also outlined earlier, the Defense Intelligence's special operations units have once again demonstrated their precision and effectiveness during a weeklong campaign targeting russian occupiers and their materiel along the front. Ukrainian reconnaissance-strike teams responded decisively to enemy assaults, inflicting 128 casualties on invading forces: 33 killed, 95 wounded, and taking two more combatants prisoner.
