​The First Peace Summit for Ukraine Will be Held on June 15-16

The purpose of the Summit is to develop a framework for the achievement of this goal in order to inspire a future peace process

The First Peace Summit for Ukraine is set to take place on June 15-16, building upon the January agreement between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Swiss Confederation President Viola Amherd. Bürgenstock, located near Lucerne in Switzerland, has been selected as the summit’s venue.

This collaborative effort between Ukraine and Switzerland has brought together heads of state and government officials from various countries. The foundational principles guiding this summit were developed through a series of international meetings led by the Office of the President, aimed at formulating the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The summit’s objective is to foster dialogue towards achieving a comprehensive, equitable and enduring peace for Ukraine within the framework of the UN Charter and international law standards. All participating parties have affirmed their commitment to these guiding principles.

Ultimately, the summit aims to lay the groundwork for a future peace process that inspires meaningful progress towards peace in Ukraine.
