In addition, Andriy Yusov emphasized that Ukraine is prepared to welcome those russians who do not wish to dirty their hands with blood and carry out criminal orders. This applies to individuals of various ranks, from soldiers to generals and commanders, under the I Want to Live project, if they surrender themselves as prisoners of war.

“We guarantee treatment in accordance with the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law, despite the fact that we are talking about killers and aggressors,” Andriy Yusov assured.

He also added that russians who surrender voluntarily will be ensured proper documentation as captives.
