On October 23, 2023, in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian city of Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region, an act of resistance was carried out. A car carrying four russian Federal Security Service agents was blown up by Ukrainian partisans, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
The attack took place on Michurin Street, near the Jasmin Guest-House hotel, which the FSB had turned into its headquarters. Among the dead was a notorious russian war criminal who had been responsible for the torture and execution of innocent Ukrainian civilians.

After the explosion, the representative of the russian occupation administration of the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia region ordered the curfew to be extended from 9 pm to 5 am, and the representatives of the russian special services immediately left the hotel and relocated to a new lair.
