The "demilitarization" of russian artillery continues

Ukrainian forces in the southern direction are actively wiping out the weapons and military equipment of the russian occupying army – in particular, as reported by the Operational Command "South", on August 26, Ukrainian artillery units destroyed six russian artillery systems at once.

During the day, the following samples of russian arsenal were "demilitarized": two 9K58 "Smerch" multiple launch rocket systems, three 2S5 "Giatsint" self-propelled artillery guns, 2S7 "Pion" self-propelled gun and 2S9 "Nona" self-propelled mortar.

In addition, 24 occupiers and five units of armored vehicles and vehicles were also eliminated. In total, the missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed more than 250 fire missions in this direction during the day.
