In an attempt to protect their aircraft safe from the strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine, russians are building defensive structures at the Saky air base

The Atesh partisan movement reports about reconnaissance conducted by the movement's agents near Novofedorivka. The presence of special equipment and construction work was recorded, suggesting that russian occupiers were attempting to build protective structures for their aircraft.

In addition, the exact number and types of aircraft stationed at the airfield, as well as the air defense systems protecting them, were recorded.

Ukrainian partisans also received the coordinates of the air base: 45.099065258, 33.60950037

It is known that since 2014 the 43rd Naval Assault Aviation Regiment with Su-24M and Su-30SM aircraft has been stationed at the airfield. Therefore, we can conclude that the russian occupiers are building shelters for these types of aircraft. Earlier, the Defense Forces of Ukraine had repeatedly carried out successful strikes on the site.

"All the information we have collected about the deployment of aircraft, radars, equipment and personnel we have handed over to the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the statement reads.

Earlier Defense Express reported that russian occupiers had moved military equipment from Crimea to the Zaporizhzhia region.
