russian forces are increasingly relying on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) to transport ammunition to frontline positions, attempting to reduce losses among personnel under constant Ukrainian fire. However, new footage shows that these efforts are being actively disrupted by Ukrainian drone operators.

On February 4, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine released a video documenting combat operations carried out by border guard drone pilots against enemy logistics assets. The footage highlights targeted strikes on russian UGVs moving toward forward positions with ammunition loads.

According to the video, the unmanned ground platforms were detected while advancing along supply routes toward russian assault units. The vehicles appeared heavily loaded, indicating their role in sustaining frontline combat operations rather than reconnaissance or evacuation.

Ukrainian forces employed FPV strike drones as well as bomber-type UAVs to engage the targets. Precision strikes successfully disabled the UGVs before they could reach their destination, effectively cutting off ammunition supplies to units positioned at the front.

Following the impacts, the unmanned vehicles caught fire and subsequently detonated, suggesting that they were carrying significant quantities of explosives or artillery ammunition. The destruction of the cargo confirms the logistical importance of the targets.

As a result of these strikes, russian assault groups were left without immediate access to ammunition, undermining their ability to continue offensive actions. Disrupting logistics at this stage has a direct effect on combat effectiveness and operational tempo.

As Defense Express previously reported, operators from Ukraine's Achilles 429th Unmanned Systems Brigade have successfully struck North Korean-made Koksan self-propelled artillery system, according to a video released by the brigade on February 5.
