russian authorities do not comment on the events, but eyewitnesses post photos and videos of the wreckage.
As Volgograd News reports, the incident occurred near the village of Dubovoe. Aleksei Goliev, the head of Dubovoe village settlement said: "It happened around 9:00. Something fell in the fields, and something fell on the territory of a private household; a shed was damaged. It has not yet been established what kind of debris it was. The area is cordoned off, we are waiting for the military."

Currently, the russian emergency services and executive authorities are silent about what exactly fell on the territory of russia.
Quote from eyewitness: "It's horrible, all the trees here are blown away. There are some tubes and boards lying around, and some other parts[, too]. It must have started falling from above, but it did not hit the trees there."
Later, a source in the emergency services of the russian Federation confirmed the fall of "unidentified items", but at the same time they said that "no one knows what fell there".
The administration of Yelansky district also refused to comment on the situation, saying that no one was injured in the fall of the debris.
Visually, the debris that fell on the territory of the Yelansky district resembles Kh-101 / Kh-102 AS-23 KODIAK, i.e., a long-range cruise missile.
On 16 December, russian forces fired 76 missiles at Ukraine, including 72 cruise missiles (Kh-101, 3M-54 Kalibr, Kh-22) and 4 air-launched guided missiles (Kh-59/Kh-31P).
In particular, the Russian invaders fired cruise missiles X-101/X-555 from the Caspian Sea and from the Saratov Oblast, near Engels airfield, where strategic bombers-missile carriers Tu-95MS are based.
